Important Note: You can install this plugin using the WordPress’s plugin uploader or via a FTP program as usual. However, it is recommended that you use the WordPress’s plugin uploader. Using the WordPress’s plugin uploader to install this plugin will ensure that the encoded files do not get corrupted during the upload (encoded files are prone to get corrupt if it is not transferred using binary mode).
The plugin will retain all the previously saved settings (no saved settings data will get lost during the upgrade).
Fresh Installation(via WordPress Plugin Uploader)
- On your Dashboard go to “Add New” under “Plugins“.
- Click “Upload“.
- Click “Browse“.
- Select the “wp-pdf-stamper.zip” file and hit “Install Now“.
- Once the Installation is completed, click “Activate Plugin” .
Fresh Installation(via FTP)
- Make sure to set the transfer mode of your FTP program to “Binary” so that the encoded files do not get corrupted during the upload.
- Unzip and Upload the folder “wp-pdf-stamper” to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory.
- Activate the plugin through the Plugins menu in WordPress.
Upgrade(From Dashboard)
Please follow the instructions below when upgrading the WP PDF Stamper plugin from an older version to a newer version:
- Click on “Plugins” on your site dashboard.
- Look for the WP PDF Stamper Plugin among the list of all other plugins and click “Deactivate“.
- Once the plugin has been deactivated click “Delete“. Confirm and delete the plugin. Don’t worry none of your settings will get lost.
- Now Upload and Install the newest version of WP PDF Stamper plugin following the previous “Fresh Installation” instructions.
Upgrade(via FTP)
- Deactivate the older version of the “WP PDF Stamper” plugin from the Plugins menu.
- Make sure to set the transfer mode of your FTP program to “Binary” so that the encoded files do not get corrupted during the upload.
- Unzip and upload the new version to the “/wp-content/plugins/” directory.
- Activate the plugin through the Plugins menu in WordPress.
