The Affiliate Link Manager plugin allows you to automatically convert specific keywords from your blog posts and pages into your affiliate links. It also cloaks the affiliate link and gives it a prettier and shorter alias.
This affiliate link cloaker plugin can also convert keywords from your sidebar widget text and comments into your affiliate links.
This plugin will revolutionize how you approach your affiliate marketing business by allowing you to automate the repetitive tasks (learn more on why use a link manager).
Affiliate Link Manager/Cloaker Features
Some key features of the WordPress Affiliate Link Manager/Cloaker Plugin include:
Automatically Convert Keywords into Affiliate Links
Assign one or more keywords to a an affiliate link, and the plugin will automatically scan your blog post and pages for those keywords and convert them into your affiliate links. You can easily reverse the operation with one click (very useful when you stop being an affiliate).
Cloak Your Affiliate Links
It will make your external and affiliate links appear to be on your site. The links will look short and pretty too.
Set Keyword Conversion Limit
You can set the maximum number of automatically inserted links per post or page so the blog posts do not look spammy.
Apply Common Customizations
Customize the font color, size, style of all the anchor texts of the cloaked links. You can also apply custom CSS.
Apply Common Link Attributes
Make all cloaked links open in a new window and add “nofollow” tag to them.
Shorten URLs to Share on Twitter
You can create nice and short version of any URL that appears to be on your site then share it on twitter, facebook etc. No need to use an external URL shortener anymore.

Hi,
I’m interested in this product. I’m currently using wootheme for my blog, can I install this plugin to wootheme?
@Robert, yes the Affiliate link cloaker plugin can detect keywords in alt field of an image and not convert them into affiliate links.
Is the WP Affiliate link cloaker plugin smart enough to not convert the keywords in an image alt field into an affiliate link?
Thanks for the feedback.
Just wanted to tank you for creating this WordPress link Cloaker plugin which is very effective and easy to use.
Yeah it should work fine with the theme. If not, we will be able to investigate it and tell you exactly why it is not working.
I am running a new theme on one of my blogs and although I have not tested Aff Cloak on that site and theme, I was wondering if you knew if it would work on OptimizePress.
Looks good, I bet you’ve had a lot of success with it!
@Linda, Yeah it knows not to link alt text and links. Regarding the package product deal, please use the contact form to submit your query and Ivy should give you a reply.
I’m curious about this also…
“Does you plugin recognize NOT to hyperlink keyword(s) already linked or words in an image alt description? Thanks.”
Also, I want the whole product package with everything but don’t have the budget for it right now… If I purchase this plugin will I get a $27 credit towards the whole package when I’m ready to buy?
Thanx
@Karlos, Yes the link cloaking will happen on sidebar widget text and comment section too (there is an option to enable keyword to link conversion feature for widget and comment text in the plugin).
I am not sure I understand your requirement about the custom field link insertion. If you can explain more on this then I will be able to give you a better answer.
will this plugin cloak links from custom fields ? I have a template directory site with “one field” to insert the the site link where I only can insert the aff link? this link will be cloack?
and will cloak links in any part of my site? from the comment section and the sidebar?
Yeah it can cloak links on both normal and multi-site WordPress installs.
Just making sure before I buy… this plugin will cloak links on WordPress multi-site installs right?
Hi Linda, yeah the link manager plugin should work fine on WordPress multi-site installs.
Will this work with WP3.x set up as a network (multi-site one user)?
Thanx
Linda =}
@Dave, Yes the affiliate link manager plugin can recognize alt text and normal links and won’t make the keywords in an alt text an affiliate link.
Does you plugin recognize NOT to hyperlink keyword(s) already linked or words in an image alt description? Thanks.
For anyone using this tool and using a theme with the “farbtastic.js” color selector, I want to let you know that Ruhul and I have been testing some theories.
The “farbtastic.js” may not allow your “Add Affiliate Link” feature to work properly or so it may appear.
Simply change themes to the default, load your Affiliate Links and keywords, then switch back to your theme. It appears to be working well.
I am having issues with “clickbank” affiliate links. They do NOT appear to be working at all and the keywords do not convert and go LIVE using the Affiliate Link Manager.
Ruhul is helping me solve this problem.
Also for anyone who is wondering. I asked earlier about making these links work “off-blog” and Ruhul came thru with a recent update to the plugin and I am told the new update will allow this to work.
This is a killer plugin for any affiliate promoter, I highly encourage it. I would offer to put my affiliate link here, but that would be silly. 😉
THANKS Ruhul, You RULE!
Hi, The following page will explain more about the Link Manager:
https://www.tipsandtricks-hq.com/wp-affiliate-link-manager/why-use-an-affiliate-link-manager-11
Please let me know if you have anymore questions.
hey i would like to know if u could track how much times ur link would be clicked?
@Patrick, Just added this feature to the plugin. Now you can create redirection links in the plugin and share it on twitter or facebook.
Hi Patrick, You can’t do that just yet but this is something we are working on to add to this plugin.
Ruhul, you already know I love your work and plugins.
I was wondering if I was to use this tool with the “http://empowerednutrition.com/recommends/productname” in my tweets and other sources like articles and the likes, would that then redirect to the affiliate product page I am promoting as if that link was sitting on my own blog?
This is a way more effective tool than any bit shortener or tinyurl tool.
If the answer is YES, then I am getting this plugin today and setting it up when the kids go to bed as a gift to me.
Thanks as always Ruhul.
This is an exciting plugin. Definitely going to get this ordered and set up for the new year push. I already have eMember, eStore and Affiliate and they all work amazing.
Hi Jamie, no this plugin do not track the referrer.
I have a similar plugin that is really buggy. Looks like yours has a few more features that I would enjoy having.
I know yours tracks clicks, but does it also track referrer info? The plugin I have now does, the only thing that does not work consistently is the cloaking option which is why I am shopping for a new alternative.
I often will put my links elsewhere besides my blog when marketing instead of using bit.ly, which is why seeing where my traffic is coming from is very important.
I look forward to hearing more and will be purchasing a few of your other plugins today.
Shalom & Blessings,

I just bought it today, and it KILLS! Everything is GREAT and work really well. Thank you so much for this, i tried to find something like this for days!
thanks friend
It’s great to be able to easily integrate your affiliate links within your WordPress posts, and the link cloaking is definitely a plus.
I’m just putting together an eStore and Affiliate program integration and simply wish to congratulate you guys (and gals) for a great job. I will be recommending this to my subscriber list i the future
Regards
Peter
If you mean that you want to change the a link in the post or page then the answer is no as the link is will be placed dynamically when the page renders. One keyword can be used for one target URL.
I really love the part that the links appear to be on your own page.
one question can you manually change the target of the links, if e.g. you want to link on word travel, but not always to the same target or is there a way to configure plugin so that it would dynamically do this, could i specify more the one target for same keyword?
Sorry.. I think I posted this in the wrong section. I meant to post in the affiliate plugin section and will do so now. Thanks again!
Hi,
Again a wonderful plugin and I am just getting started with it but I see a lot of potential. I just signed up for YOUR affiliate program and was wondering where the code was located within the plugin files so that I can replace the text link on my website “Powered by WP Affiliate Platform” (located at the bottom right of each page) with MY Affiliate Code … the code that I was given when signing up for your (www.tipsandtricks-hq.com) program??
Please help and thanks 🙂
Hi David, In the Manage Links option this should you all the links you have configured and how many times they have been clicked.
I notice on the video that the link manager has the option to track clicks. How does this happen? Is there a control panel of some kind that displays how many times a particluar link has been clicked?
Hey Philip, so when you click the “Add New” link a new interface doesn’t popup? I have a feeling the JQuery in your admin side is a little bit stuffed. Are you using the OZH admin interface so something similar?
Can you do this quick test form me (only do the plugin section)?
https://www.tipsandtricks-hq.com/forum/topic/test-to-identy-a-conflicting-theme-or-plugin
Let me know how you go with that.
Hello Ruhul,
For some reason I can not add a new Link.
I have WP 3.0.1 and have had no problem with the installation.
I changed the settings.
and next is the Add new Link.
Just don’t get anything to happen.
Thanks for your great products
Regards
Philip RSA
yes the links will appear to be on your site. So if your domain name is the following:
http://www.example.com
then you will be able to cloak your affiliate links so it looks like the following:
http://www.example.com/recommends/nameofproduct
how is the cloaked link generated? Is it based on the URL of the page or post it appears on? I would love to be able to create cloaked affiliate links that look like http://www.DOMAIN.com/recommends/nameofproduct
would something like this be possible with this plugin?
wow! this plugin looks awesome. I am getting tired of manually editing affiliate links…. didn’t know that there was a plugin for it 🙂
@ Gabriel, The change would be site wide.
Hi, can the plugin make the changes per post. For example let’s say I have different affiliate links for hosting and I would like to promote a different one in my posts, I would like every word “hosting” to be changed.
Thanks man… the video tutorial is coming soon 🙂
Nice plugin guys. Do you guys got the Video tutorial yet for the plugin?
Hi Jennifer, yeah you can easily reverse it simply by setting the status of the link to “deactive”. This way in the future you can activate it again without having to recreate the link.
After I have created a few links that converts some keywords to my affiliate link on my site, is it reasonably easy to take the links out (converting it back to the simple text again)? I don’t want to manually do this.
The cloaked links will look similar to the following if I was using it on this site:
https://www.tipsandtricks-hq.com/prefix/name
“prefix” and “name” are text that you specify when creating the link. Say for example, I have an affiliate link for a product called “Awesome Beauty Product” and my affiliate link looks like the following:
http://www.example.com/?ref=mlcum&id=9088087
Now, I can configure a link that will look like the following when placed on my site (this is a cloaked version of the above affiliate link):
https://www.tipsandtricks-hq.com/goto/beauty
Hi, this plugin looks very promising. I am interested to use it on one of my sites where I promote affiliates products.
can you please give an example of how a cloaked affiliate link will look like?
