Receipt Creator AddOn Details

The Receipt Creator Addon dynamically creates printable PDF receipts after the purchase of any product via WP eStore plugin. Each receipt created will contain a unique ID. The receipt URL will be sent to the customer in the post purchase confirmation email whereby the customer may download the PDF receipt or view it in their browser.

This eStore Receipt Creator allows the user to specify their company name and by-line or other company info which will appear in the receipt header. The issued receipt will contain transaction details as well as a list of all items purchased together with the total cost. A list of all issued receipt in the database are conveniently displayed via an easily navigable table which allows bulk actions and sorting.

WP eStore Members Only Download Button Addon

The members only download button addon for eStore can be used to create buttons that lets the logged in members download the item(s). Non logged in users will be prompted to buy the item.

WP eStore has shortcodes that lets you create “Download Now” buttons to facilitate the secure download of your digital item(s). This addon extends that functionality so the members of your site (managed by WP eMember plugin) can download directly while the non-members see a “Buy” option.

WP eStore Bulk Item Purchase Addon

WP eStore Bulk Item Purchase addon allows you to display a list of products from a specified category. Your customer can enter quanity value next to the products they want to purchase then hit the “Add to Cart” button and it will add all the items in the shopping cart in one go. The customer can then complete the checkout.

General Description

The eStore Post Payment Actions addon is a useful utility plugin which can cater for various additional actions which a merchant may want to perform immediately following an eStore product sale.

This addon currently provides the ability for a merchant to automatically send an email to a specified recipient after the sale of a particular eStore product. This is handy if you want to notify someone different for each of your product sale or notify a 3rd party vendor.

The administrator is asked to configure a product ID, email address and email body text via the settings page and this plugin will then listen for an eStore sale notification event and will send the appropriate emails based on the addon’s settings.

It is envisaged that there will be many more post payment features offered by this addon as time goes by, so please stay tuned and check back here from time to time.

  • Go to the “Add New” plugins screen in your WordPress admin area

WP eStore Gift Voucher or Certificate AddOn

General Description

The eStore Voucher Generation Addon is a plugin which will dynamically create customizable and printable PDF vouchers after the purchase of a specified eStore product. The user can later redeem the gift voucher in your store.

The user can redeem the voucher for both digital and/or non-digital items in your store.

Partial voucher redemption is also supported. For example: A user can purchase a $50 gift voucher. This voucher can be used to purchase a $25 item from your store and the remaining amount will be usable at a later time (the addon will keep track of it). See example screenshot below:

Gift Voucher AddOn Details

The eStore Voucher Generation Addon plugin gives merchants the ability to create printable PDF vouchers based on particular products which are configured in the eStore products database.

This plugin makes it possible to automatically issue a voucher to the customer after they purchase a product which is linked to a particular voucher template.

Each voucher created will contain a unique voucher code or serial number.

The voucher URL will be sent to the customer in the post purchase confirmation email where the buyer may download the voucher or view it in their browser.

The Voucher Generation Addon allows the admin to create voucher templates on a per product basis with configurable parameters such as product ID, voucher text, and terms and conditions. The administrator can also set the border frame of the voucher by choosing one of a selection of background images available in the voucher template creation page.

The listing and management of all of the voucher templates which have been created is done via a convenient and easily navigable table which allows for bulk delete actions and sorting.

Similarly a separate tab also displays a list of all “issued vouchers” currently in the database. A voucher is considered as being “issued” when it has been generated after a product purchase and has been dispatched to the buyer.

Manually Generating a Voucher

Normally, a gift voucher is something your customers buy first. When they buy a voucher from your shop, they get a gift voucher with a code (that can be used to purchase other items from your shop). However, you may want to quickly generate a voucher manually to do some testing or give it to a friend. Use the “Generate Voucher” link from the “Voucher Templates” interface to manually generate a gift voucher that can be used in your shop.

General Description

The Order Management Addon plugin displays order information based on transaction id. This plugin will conveniently allow merchants to track and list all orders made via a useful order management console in the eStore menu.

The eStore Order Management Addon plugin allows online merchants to better manage their orders which are made via the eStore plugin.

This plugin is particularly useful for people selling physical products via the eStore plugin.

The plugin will display order information in an easy and manageable console where the administrator can easily track orders based on transaction ID and other criteria such as order status.

The administrator can also edit various fields of an order and set the status to appropriate defined values which reflect the different stages an order goes through from the initial purchase to dispatchment and completion.

The user is also able to archive any completed or old orders which will be removed from the main display table but can be viewed and edited via the Archived Orders tab.

How to Use the Serial/License Key Code Selling Feature

WP eStore plugin has a serial/license key code selling feature that can help you in the following scenarios:

  • If your product needs to issue a serial number from a pool of serial numbers to each customer upon purchase.
  • If your product needs to issue a license key from a pool of pre-generated license keys to each customer upon purchase.
  • If you are selling tickets and you need to give a ticket number (from a pool of pre-generated ticket numbers) to each customer upon purchase.

How To Use this Feature

Step 1: Generate your key codes/license codes/ticket numbers (you can generate as many as you want). These key codes that you generated should be separated by comma (,).

Example: The following is an example of 9 key codes that are separated by comma.

ABC18-CODE22, XCMEY-TJSTA, 123y0b9y7v, L363DC23, 1234567, Maiv882#i2, TICKET#1, TICKET#2, TICKET#3

Step 2: Specify the generated key codes separated by comma in the “Your Codes” field when creating an eStore product

Step 3: Use the following email tag in the “Buyer Email Body” field of eStore’s settings. The serial key will be inserted at that spot of the buyer email when a customer purchase the product.

All done! Now, when a customer purchase a product that is using the serial key codes feature explained above, eStore will issue one key to this customer and update the database so the next customer will get the next key code.

Auto Generate License Keys

Alternatively, you can integrate WP eStore with our license manager plugin if you want to auto generate license keys when a customer purchase an item. The plugin will email the generated license key to the customer.

How to Use a Compact Shopping Cart on Your Site?

You can use any of the above mentioned compact cart on your site by using a shortcode. Please refer to our shortcodes list documentation for details.

Remember that the compact shopping cart also requires that you use the full cart somewhere on your site. You can create a specific checkout page where you show the full cart and then use the compact cart in the sidebar or header area.

This page explains how you can create a specific cart checkout page for your site. When the users click on the “view cart” link inside the compact cart, it will take them to this cart checkout page.

In addition to the above compact cart templates, the WP eStore plugin comes with a few full cart shortcodes also.

Checkout Page Demo

Unlike other shopping cart plugins, WP eStore doesn’t require you to have a specific checkout page. The standard shopping cart is capable of letting your customers checkout from where it is being displayed (for example: the sidebar, header, footer, any post, any page etc.). This in turn help you minimize cart abandonment rate (the less hoops a customer has to jump through to checkout, the less the cart abandonment rate).

You can still configure a specific checkout page if you want to. It is simply a matter of creating a WordPress page called “Checkout” and placing a shopping cart shortcode in that page. eStore has an option that you can use to automatically redirect your customers to the checkout page after they add an item to the shopping cart. This can be handy if you want to offer some up-sell products on your Checkout page.

You can also display a compact cart (a compact version of the shopping cart) on your sidebar which will let the customers checkout via your “Checkout” page.
