It is a known fact that having an affiliate program is the most powerful way to market your products or services online (Read more on the benefits of affiliate program).

- Do you want to have your own affiliate program so you can cut the middle man and build your own brand?
WordPress Affiliate Plugin Summary
The WordPress Affiliate Platform is an easy to use WordPress plugin for affiliate recruitment, management and tracking that can be used on any WordPress blog or site. This plugin lets you run your own affiliate campaign/program and allows you to reward (pay commission) your affiliates for referring sales.
The admin can configure banners, links and creatives which the affiliates can use on their site to drive traffic to your site. All the clicks, leads, sales etc are tracked by this plugin.
If you are running online ad campaigns for your products and services then you can use the affiliate platform plugin to measure the true conversion rate of each campaign to find out the profitable ones. This allows you to weed out the non-profitable campaigns and save money in the process.

- Launch your affiliate campaign in a short time.
- Monitor clicks and conversions of visitors sent by your affiliates.
- Maintain your brand with your own product Ad Banners, Links and Creatives.

- Significantly BOOST revenue with more sales.
We use this plugin to run our affiliate program and it has had a positive effect on our product sales.

WP Affiliate Platform Questions (F.A.Q)
Please leave a comment below if you have any questions.
You probably just need to setup something similar to a Pay Per Lead model (in your case the commission will be awarded after the customer fills out the form). Might be useful to just have a look at the following documentation and see if it helps:
https://www.tipsandtricks-hq.com/wordpress-affiliate/how-to-use-pay-per-lead-affiliate-model-114
I want to be able to offer a commission based incentive on my new shared hosting website so there are no physical products to buy but just one of 2 hosting options. I need to record new client details upon signup which I currently use Cannybill for this but This means I have no facility to be able to input any code to acknowledge a payment for an affiliate program to recognise. I am happy to change to other options but most WordPress store plugins seem more than I require. Is there a solution you can offer that incorporates your affiliate platform plugin?
Many thanks,
Paul
@Richard, No this plugin won’t be the best solution for you as it was designed to handle relationship between affiliates, customers and the product seller.
I don’t sell any product or service but would like to offer a platform for advertisers and publishers instead. Is this program a solution for this as well? Thanks!
This WordPress affiliate plugin is the best. It was really easy to setup and it works a treat!
@dddnk, Yes you can use the affiliate platform plugin for this process as long as you integrate the affiliate plugin with the solution that is going to process the payment of your “paid product”. See the integration section here for more details:
https://www.tipsandtricks-hq.com/wordpress-affiliate
affiliate> send customer to my site to receive free video course> during the free video course, I will promote a paid product> if customer buy> I send affiliate commission to the affiliate.
Can this plugin help me to achieve the process above?
thanks nice great site and i have added in my favorites list
Hi Rob,
I believe this is what you are looking for:

There are also other lead capture integrations here (integration section): https://www.tipsandtricks-hq.com/wordpress-affiliate/
Hello,
Is it possible to track sign-ups through a form like gravity forms or a mail chimp form instead of tracking sales of a particular product?
I have enjoyed reading this site and have downloaded and install the plugin and I wanted to say thanks
@kera… You must be new. It’s referred to as back end sales. You give the affiliates a large or sometimes 100% of the sale as incentive to promote. You do this knowing that you will make your money by selling additional, related products on the the back end.
@Martin, PayPal does not charge the same fee for every merchant. It can vary based on a lot of things. So the answer varies too. If you are using PayPal mass payment to make affiliate payout (I use this) then the fees charged is 2%. So you can adjust the commission percentage to cover the 2% fee.
I just need to figure out what % I would need to add to the affiliate backend for payout so that paypal fee’s are covered and then they receive!!
@Manender, you create text links or banner ads for your affiliates to use. Your affiliates will then be able to copy the code and place it on their sites. The 3rd video tutorial on this page should give you a good idea of this:
https://www.tipsandtricks-hq.com/wordpress-affiliate/wp-affiliate-platform-quick-setup-and-usage-video-tutorial-158
i want to purchase your product .Please help me about some doubt .
How my content will be shown in affiliate website -we have to give the link or it will automatically reflect from our site
@Rhonda… um. how will you make money giving away 100% of your sales?
The affiliate calculation is based on the sale price.
I was wondering if anyone can answer a question for me. Is the affiliate calculations based on the sale price or what was actually recieved from paypal, price less paypal fee’s?
I am attempting to create a business and would like to offer affiliates 100% commission on sales. Is there anyway to do this, without me going in the hole paying for the paypal fee’s.
I guess I just need to figure out what % I would need to add to the affiliate backend for payout so that paypal fee’s are covered and then they receive whats left of the 100%.
Can anyone help??
@admin Thank you very much!
@Rhonda, You can use them on all of your sites that you own and operate.
If you purchased both the estore plug in and the affiliate program plug in can you use them on multiple sites? Or can it only be used on one site?
Yes, it works with WP-eCommerce 3.8+. Please see the the integration documentation for more details:
https://www.tipsandtricks-hq.com/wordpress-affiliate/wp-affiliate-software-integration-with-the-instincts-wp-ecommerce-plugin-70
Does your affiliate platform script work with the new wp e-commerce 3.8 cart upgrade? I have seen that some people had some issues with different plugins after the upgrade. I really like your plugin but I am trying to make sure that I have all compatibility issues taken care of before I buy new plugins. This oen I really like and hope that it is compatible.
@Ingars, Yes, Checkout the 2nd option from here:

This page explains how the language translation works:
https://www.tipsandtricks-hq.com/forum/topic/plugin-language-translation
Hello!
Is it possible to make custom design for affiliates login and admin page so it maches website design?
Is it posible to localize the plugin (PO files)?
Ingars
Hi Steve, When a subscription is cancelled in PayPal, PayPal sends notification to your site. The Affiliate Platform will only award Affiliate commissions on completed purchases so once the recurring payment is cancelled the Affiliate commission will stop also.
We have three paypal subscription buttons on our site for a recurring service that we offer at three levels. We would like to add an affiliate program that would pay residually for the life of a sale. It appears that your plugin will do this fine. My question is, what happens when a customer cancels their paypal subscription thru paypal.
Hi, I believe this is what you are looking for:
https://www.tipsandtricks-hq.com/wordpress-affiliate/integrating-s2member-plugin-with-the-wp-affiliate-software-368
Hi, I´m planning to buy this plugin, but have one question. In my site I have the S2Member plugin and I want to know if there is no conflict between the plugins. Can I use your plugin with the S2Member plugin? Will they be full functionaly.
Thanks for your answer.
Kind Regards
@Rebecca, If you are using the WP eMember plugin then yes you can set this in the settings menu so the plugin automatically creates an affiliate account for each of your members.
I would like all of the members of my site to become automatic affiliates when they sign up for the site – is that possible?
thank you for this program it really helps me with my affiliate marketing.your plugins always the best.
Best regards

@Rob, the URL doesn’t have to have the wordpress affiliate in it. For exmple if the URL of your product page looks like the following:
http://www.exmple.com/my-product1
Then the affiliate URL will look similar to the following:
http://www.exmple.com/my-product1?ap_id=tips21
Tips21 is an example affiliate ID. Your affiliates can take this URL to the next level and cloak it using a similar plugin like the following:
https://www.tipsandtricks-hq.com/affiliate-link-manager-plugin-revolutionize-affiliate-marketing-by-automating-repetitive-tasks-2524
Any of your serious affiliates will have a plugin or software to cloak their affiliate links on their end.
Hi
Great looking plugin, just wondered if the affiliate URLs can be changed in the settings at all. Not keen on each one having…..
wordpress-affiliate?ap_id=username
Is there any way of changing wordpress-affiliate?ap_id to, well, anything that doesn’t say affiliate, like
wordpress-ref?ap_id=username
thanks
Rob
Hi, Yes this can be done with WishList also. No custom coding is needed to do this.
@admin, Hello. I have seen you mention in the comments (way back in 2009) that by integrating with estore and emember, we can pay affiliates a percentage on all recurring payments for their subscription. Is this also possible if we use estore and WishList member? Is any custom code need for this type of set up?
Thanks!
Just thought I’d post a heartfelt thank you for the support received with a little headache I was having.
Ivy went out of her way (imho) to investigate the source of my problem in my WP backend, AND researched the problem online, AND emailed me back with a link to some encouraging news. Want to know the best part? It turns out this problem had nothing to do with WP-Affiliate-Platform.
That, to me, is support at its finest. Kudos to the whole team! (I must admit to having a warm and fuzzy feeling when I think about Ivy 🙂 )
WOW thank you Ivy, you just made my day : )
Hi Joseph, I believe this is what you are looking for:

=)
I am interested in using this plug-in with s2 Member plug-in. Have you had any experience or known issues with your plug-in working with it?
Downloaded this evening and got everything all set up nice and snug in one sitting. Thanks for a great plugin! 🙂
Great Plugin. it is so much nice affiliate plugin that i see thanks for sharing
What a great plugin. I’ve used this on 2 of my sites and it works brilliantly.
Thanks!
Great stuff here. I like it and will use it. Thanks
Hi, All of our plugins are compatible with the latest version of WordPress.
The following forum post will explain more about what is happening.
https://www.tipsandtricks-hq.com/forum/topic/you-do-not-have-sufficient-permissions-to-access-this-page-error
Please let me know if you have anymore questions.
Is there a reason that this plugin does NOT work with WP 3.0.4??
I can click and setup every single link except the WP Affiliate link which is the first link above the SETTINGS link.
Just wondering cuz everyone else was able to be configured. I got the dreaded “You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page.”
Please update your plugin. As of now, I’ve wasted some money on your product.
Sounds great. Can’t wait to see what it looks like.
Thanks for your time in answering.
Regards..;
You can use the following shortcode on a post or page to retrieve the referrer value:
[wp_affiliate_referrer]
If you want to use it from your theme’s template file then you can use the following function:
wp_affiliate_get_referrer()
Hi,
I would like to display affiliate ID in a digital product page. What script is used to get the affiliate id?
