WP Affiliate platform plugin can be integrated with WooCommerce plugin so that affiliate commissions can be awarded automatically for the products that you sell via WooCommerce.
What can you expect from this WooCommerce affiliate integration?
The following points shows the usual flow of events that you can expect:
- You place WooCommerce product(s) on your WordPress powered site.
- An affiliate sends a visitor to your store (The affiliate plugin detects this referral and tracks the click).
- The visitor decides to buy your product so he clicks on the “Buy” button which will add the product to WooCommerce shopping cart.
- Clicking on the checkout button takes the visitor to the payment page where the visitor can pay for the product.
- After the visitor makes a payment, he/she gets redirected to the “Thank You” page.
- The affiliate plugin detects that this sale was referred by an affiliate so it awards appropriate commission to the referrer.
WooCommerce Integration Steps
Simply activate both the WooCommerce and the latest version of the WP Affiliate Platform plugin on your site and you are all done.
Can the Affiliate Plugin Track Commission for WooCommerce Subscription Payment?
Yes, it can track commissions for recurring payments too.
Additional Integration Options
The following integration features are available in the plugin but these are completely optional. You don’t need to use it to get the above mentioned integration working.
1) Using Product Specific Commission Rates
If you want to use product specific commission rates for your WooCommerce products then check this documentation.
2) Linking Affiliates to WooCommerce Coupon Codes
If you want to track affiliate commission via WooCommerce discount codes, then check this documentation.
@Giedrius, No, woocommerce has built-in integration with this affiliate plugin. So just do the steps explained on this page.
Hello!
If I use woocommerce with Stripe integration, do I have to check [ Enable 3rd Party Cart Integration: ]?
Thank you!
@Himanshu, The commission is ONLY awarded after you receive the payment. So for manual payment, it will award commission when you go to the orders menu and mark it complete.
We are using woocommerce for selling our printed magazine and online access (wp-eMember!). And now planning to run affiliate program.
The question is, as we also offer manual payment options, when a sale is considered done? Is it when a buyer simply places an order even with a maual pay option or when we receive the payment and mark it complete in woocommerce?
The concern is, the affiliate himself/his friend may place orders, but then don’t pay manually!
Bye the way, the only reason we are not using wpestore is, it does not support any Indian payment gateway, like ccavenue! Please do something for that!
@Francesco, Use the product specific affiliate commission option for WooCommerce (that way you can exclude some products by setting a commission value of 0 for those products):

Hi,
How can I select which products for affiliates?
I would not want all the products for affiliates.
I’m using WooCommerce.
Thanks
@Nick, The commission is based of the sub-total amount.
Hi There,
We are using Woocommerce with the plugin: Is the commission based on the total purchase of the order (including shipping and any tax) or just the products themselves (Sub-total)? If it does not base the commission on the Sub-total, is there a way to configure this for the plugin?
Thanks!
Best plugin for my new shop 🙂
@Nicci, Yes it will work with coupons also. The following page will help:

Can this program work with the coupon options in WooCommerce?
Thank you. This is a very clear, thorough explanation.
